He will work in collaboration with the production and quality department. He\/she must work in a way to respect health and safety rules in the workplace, avoids any product contamination and minimize the impact on the work environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main tasks<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2981 Investigate the cause of breakdowns and solve the problem<br \/>\n\u2981 Performs all required repairs as well as preventive maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, electrical, control and production equipment according to established specifications and frequencies to ensure their proper operation and reliability<br \/>\n\u2981 Ensure that equipment is safe at all times<br \/>\n\u2981 Respond to urgent employee requests (foreman, manager, etc.)<br \/>\n\u2981 Perform parts research and place orders in accordance with company procedures<br \/>\n\u2981 Participate, in collaboration with supervisor, in the development and monitoring of the preventive and predictive maintenance plan<br \/>\n\u2981 Perform inspections of various equipment<br \/>\n\u2981 Participate in the planning of machine shutdowns with the maintenance manager<br \/>\n\u2981 Promote communication and collaboration among team members<br \/>\n\u2981 Perform semi-automatic welding and tig welding (cutting metal, welding guards, etc.)<br \/>\n\u2981 Perform machining of parts as needed<br \/>\n\u2981 Respond to service calls as needed<br \/>\n\u2981 See to the improvement of equipment and plant efficiency<br \/>\n\u2981 Respect plant safety rules to comply with safety standards<br \/>\n\u2981 Participate in team meetings for plant facility improvements<br \/>\n\u2981 Any other related duties<\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills, abilities and competencies related to the position<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2981 DEP in electromechanics or other combination of education and experience deemed relevant<br \/>\n\u2981 Minimum 3 years of experience<br \/>\n\u2981 Ability to read blueprints<br \/>\n\u2981 Possess good problem solving skills<br \/>\n\u2981 Communication and teamwork skills<br \/>\n\u2981 Autonomous and resourceful\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Summary role Under the responsibility of the Maintenance Manager, the electromechanic will have to perform tasks relating to the proper functioning and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, thermal, electrical, control and production equipment.
