Main tasks

⦁ Plan, organize, and coordinate production to achieve maximum efficiency
⦁ Lead, mentor and supervise employees under his/her responsibility
⦁ Be involved on the production line as needed on a daily basis
⦁ Ensure that employees comply with health and safety standards and sanitation rules
⦁ Ensure the smooth running of activities
⦁ Work and communicate with other teams to ensure good cohesion in the company and contribute to a pleasant atmosphere based on respect, collaboration and achievement of common goals
⦁ Work in collaboration with the human resources department by regularly following up on employees under his/her responsibility
⦁ Follow up on employee training needs to meet legal, safety and quality standards
⦁ Perform nonconformance management (corrective actions, causes of deviation, preventive actions)
⦁ Manage and participate in production line cleaning
⦁ Any other related duties


Abilities, aptitudes and skills related to the position

⦁ Education: completed DES and any other combination of education and experience deemed relevant
⦁ Experience: 5 years of management experience
⦁ Skills: Resourceful, motivated, committed individual with a good sense of initiative and leadership
⦁ Must be available for overtime in the high season (September to December)
⦁ Languages: English and/or Spanish is an asset
